MX Creator II Walkthrough
MX Creator II is one of the most fully featured and engrossing motorcycle games online. Full of options for customization, this is a great game for someone who is looking for a more personalized gaming experience. You can customize just about every part of your bike, your gear and your helmet to make the rider and vehicle look more appealing to you. You can also create your own track to race on that can be as easy or challenging as you like. The custom track option is offered in addition to 20 pre-built tracks ranging in difficulty from easy to hard. Each of the tracks, whether you choose a pre-built track or choose to create your own, has a fast lap leader board that allows you to see how your performing on each trip around the track. In addition to that, you can also choose how many laps you would like to take on in each game. This game is perfect for anyone interested in motorcycle games thanks to the options available. Beginners can start out with the easy tracks or design a track of their own if they find even the easiest tracks a little too difficult while experienced players can tackle the hard tracks or design their own if they want more of a challenge than what is offered. All of these options combine to make a game anyone can enjoy.
MX Creator II is more than just a game that's interesting because of the customization options. Even the easiest tracks can be quite difficult allowing a challenge for beginners who don't want to create their own track. The basic premise is the same as you would get with most other motorcycle games online. Your goal is simple; make it from the left side of the screen to the end of the track on the right side of the screen, navigating over the hills and valleys in the terrain to avoid crashing. The difference between this game and most other motorcycle games, however, is that crashing does not mean your game is over. When you crash you are started off again in the exact spot you crashed in and given another chance to get over the obstacle that gave you difficulty. This is a great benefit as it saves you from having to start all over again from the beginning and helps the game avoid feeling stale or old. Because you are able to choose how many laps you want to do, you can make the game as short as you want. If you're just trying to decide what track you want to ride on, consider playing a lap in each track in the skill set you're interested in. It won't take long and it allows you to get a feel for the track and whether or not you'll enjoy riding on it.
The actual controls you'll use to control your bike in MX Creator II aren't much different than you would use playing most other motorcycle games online. The main difference here is the addition of 'Preload' and 'Soak Up'. Preload will help you get more height on a jump while soak up reduces the amount of height you get on a jump. Both of these things will be beneficial at different points on different tracks. To take advantage of these additions, you'll need to time them with your jump. Next to your speedometer (at the bottom left of your screen) you'll see a bar. You need to use this bar to time your preload or soak up to get the most benefit out of them. You need to press the key that corresponds with the move you want to perform before you jump. In order to get the most out of the move, you need to time the release of your key exactly. The meter will only fill up and drop once, so if you want maximum effect, release the key when the meter is full; ideally, just before both of your wheels leave the ground for the jump. The meter will be green to represent soak up, red to represent preload or just plain white when neither maneuver is being preformed.
Overall, MX Creator II is an excellent game for any fan of motorcycle games that goes a little beyond what other games in this genre offer. The customization options are likely the biggest reason to check this game out, but the pre-built tracks are also an excellent reason to give this game a try. Instead of just offering a game for one skill set, this one has really focus on offering something for everyone. The game will keep your attention and keep you playing, the fast lap leader board urging you to beat your own time, beyond simply giving you a more personalized gaming experience.
