Monster Rider Walkthrough
Monster Rider is a motorcycle game that dares to do things a little differently. Instead of giving you a fast moving, light weight dirt bike or motorcycle, Monster Rider gives you a monster of an ATV and challenges you to navigate over various obstacles including cars, vans and barrels to get to the finish line to complete each level. Aside from the obstacles you are given less that flat terrain to move over making things even more difficult. The truth is, though, once you figure out a good strategy, the game's actually fairly easy.
For experienced motorcycle game players, Monster Rider is going to be a little difficult to get used to simply because controlling this mammoth ATV is much different than controlling a dirt bike. If you've played these games at all, the terrain and the obstacles will be fairly familiar. So will the premise and the rules of the game. It isn't breaking new ground in that way. What makes this game so challenging and so hard to get used to is the sheer weight and power of the machine you're given to drive. It might as well be a tank. It doesn't move that quickly and getting up steep inclines will be a challenge. This is the key difference between controlling this machine and a more traditional vehicle. There is definitely a noticable speed difference at play here. That's a serious disadvantage when you're trying to climb up a steep hill or over a larger obstacle, but it's key advantage is a big one - it's extremely hard to flip.
If you've playing this type of motorcycle game before, you're probably familiar with how easy it is to flip a motorcycle when you're driving over an obstacle. It's easy to flip one forward or backward with even the slightest mistake. The ATV you're given in Monster Rider, however, is much more sturdy. That isn't to say you won't be able to flip it, but it will take much more to do so than it would in a more traditional game. This makes the game a bit easier to play. The biggest obstacle you'll face in successfully beating this game is your own experience. This is one of the few motorcycle games where beginners will have an advantage. In other games, you have to approach certain obstacles more slowly than others. That simply isn't true in this one. It takes a little while to get going at a decent speed, but once you do, don't back off. You need to hit obstacles with as much speed and power as you can. Focus on keeping your vehicle balanced by leaning forward or back on it depending on the situation you're in and you'll have little problem tackling every obstacle in this game.
Overall, Monster Rider is a great game but once you get the hang of how the game is played it almost feels a little too easy. Challenge yourself to collect coins if you're finding yourself bored. It's a fun game, but it isn't quite as addictive as many of the other motorcycle games online. All in all, this game is best for those who are fans of motorcycle games and are looking to kill a little time with a game that offers something a little different than they're used to. You'll have a lot of fun playing, but it might not be a game you go back to over and over again. It's definitely worth checking out though.
