A motorcycle game that is set on post-apocalyptic Earth - if that's your cup of tea, then Atom Heart is a game you should take a closer look at. And the fact that the game takes place in the year 2017 gives me goosebumps. Perhaps the 2012 Mayan Prophecy is true? Well, we're not here to argue about that. Back to the game, Atom Heart showcases A LOT of niceties that motorcycle game fans will surely LOVE - excellent graphics and design, 3 different types of stages, fourteen levels of increasing difficulty, and those are just to name a few.

Atom Heart showcases 3 types of levels: (1) Levels where you need to kill zombies. (2) Levels where you have to destroy all sorts of objects like bombs and stuff. (3) And last BUT not the least, levels where staying alive until you reach the finish line is a MUST. As usual, in all of these level types, you need to reach the finish line to move to the next stage.

You are given ONLY 5 tries to complete every level. The radioactive symbol located on the upper left hand corner of the screen indicates how many tries / lives you still have left. Crashing will slash off a life off, obliterate all of your Tesla Charges... BUT don't worry. You get to respawn RIGHT away. However, when you lose all of your lives, you are taken back to the VERY beginning of the level. Oh! By the way, you don't have to worry about saving as your game is automatically saved. That lets you replay any of your previous levels or continue later on if you have other pressing stuff to do.

Killing Zombies: You don't have any firearm or artillery of any sort in Atom Heart. However, killing zombies is a piece of cake. All you need to do is just collide with them and down they go. The same thing goes for destroyable objects. Matter of fact, you can remain stationary and if the zombies touch you, they die! HOWEVER, you do need to make sure that your motorcycle does NOT flip over and your driver doesn't touch any ceiling, floor, etc. If that happens, you should know by now what comes up next.

To make your bike even more powerful and destructive in this motorcycle game, try to collect those blue and glowing orbs. Doing so will increase your Tesla charge, which is indicated at the upper-right corner of the interface. To activate it, just press the space bar button. Doing so will temporarily create an electrical barrier around your motorcycle, which does a good job of obliterating any zombie or destructible object within its radius.

Summing things up - Atom Heart is a motorcycle game that adds A LOT more action to the genre. If you have grown tired and a little sick of the usual navigating and tipping of your bike back and forth, Atom Heart will surely be a satisfying game. Straightforward game play, nice graphics, cool Tesla charges, and of course, zombies to kill - give it a try now.
